Dry Hards: A Tea Towel Exhibition

Throw in the towel! Bobbin and Ink has called for creative submissions from artists to take a blank tea towel and turn it into a piece of art as part of Dry Hards, an exhibition celebrating an under-appreciated canvas: the humble tea towel.

Expect to see printed designs alongside sewn, stitched, woven, dyed, appliqued, felted pieces or other surprise decorative mediums. Bobbin and Ink have called for hand or machine creative techniques to be displayed. Come along to the Dry Hards exhibition launch party at Bobbin and Ink, Friday 5 October 6pm. Works will be on sale and displayed in-store until Sunday 7 October.

If you want to see what happens at Bobbin and Ink day-to-day, and check out the sewing and printing studio in action, join us for Craft Up Late on Thursday 11 October, 5pm – 8pm.
