Eden Gardens is celebrating spring with a Festival of Flowers on Sunday 9 October. There will be many flower-themed workshops for the crafty.

Create your own floral scent using essential oils
Floral dyeing: where botanicals are turned into bespoke silk scarves
Cyanotype printing: using pressed flowers and foliage to make a beautiful Prussian blue print
Flower Crown workshop for kids
Fibre flower making crochet/ sew workshop
Inspired by Nature: gum leaf mixed media where ‘ordinary’ Eucalyptus leaves are transformed to create larger than life artwork
Bubbles and Blooms where your own still life bouquet can be painted during a champagne brunch, or take a selfie in a giant Thankyou! bunch of fibre flowers three metres tall by textile artist Alison Thompson.
