
Hand Weave, Spin, Create
Join Handweavers and Spinners Guild NSW in their new home at Brush Farm House with the following Sydney Craft Week events.
Spring School Workshops: Two weeks of workshops (1-16 October) conducted by skilled textile artisans teaching hand spinning, weaving, felting and other crafts from beginner to advanced levels.
Exhibition: Fibrous Interactions (1 - 30 October) featuring woven baskets, braids and felting in addition to members’ work for sale and to hard-to-find items that will be available from the supplies store.
Craft Up Late: try spinning, weaving and inkle braiding; visit the exhibition, and taking a walk around the historic house and grounds that were the home of Charles Blaxland the famous colonial explorer.
