There Is No Planet B

Ditty Wheels Gallery is based in the Lower North Shore of Sydney and represents a wide variety of artists from emerging to established across all disciplines.

There Is No Planet B - inspired by Greta Thunberg's famous speech, is a group exhibition that celebrates our nature and ecosystems, highlighting the necessity to take care of the natural world in the face of our current climate crisis.

Jessica Watts and Midori Goto have a high level of craftsmanship and strong visual language working with clay, cement, Australian hardwood veneers as well as woven material.

Midori Goto uses clay as an extension of the mind. Her aim is to “draw in curiosity for nurturing our planet, igniting conversations around nature through playfulness.”

Jessica Watts’ works are a celebration of process - completely handmade from start to finish. Her Pretty Boys and Noisy Boyz is a fun, anthropomorphic series that delights in seeing the human in the beautiful birds that come from our planet.

Details: Friday 7 October – Sunday 16 October, Tuesdays – Fridays 10am – 4pm and Saturdays 10am – 3pm
