Thinking through making – new strategies in design education and research

An exhibition and panel talk reflecting the current initiatives in design education and research at UNSW Art & Design, where iterative design processes in object making are informed by critical evaluation and reflection. 2019 will see a new design program at UNSW Art & Design including a symbiosis of the craft-led design areas, extending the possibilities of creativity and innovation by synthesising the common threads across areas of studio practice in an exciting new disciplinary area. On Wednesday for Craft Up Late, there will be an exhibition viewing from 6pm and a panel talk from 6.30 – 7.45pm.
