BurraBurd Studio
Deborah Burdett’s practice incorporates slow stitching into a series of wall hangings, collages and flags, incorporating found objects and ephemera and utilises pure wools and natural linens. She reflects on the importance of process and welcomes discordance in outcomes.
Deborah has a particular interest in rural communities, politics and the theory of 'craft as comfort’- a panacea for mental and physical health issues. Guests will be invited to stitch onto the Covid Flag, an ongoing project started in 2020.
Open studio Sunday 13 October, 10am - 4pm
