Wood carver Rachel Shaw (Waiting for Spring) is teaming up with Japanese Tools Australia (JTA) for two weekends of hands-on-carving classes!

Learn to shape spoons, birds, chopsticks and more in JTA’s beautifully crafted workshop and showroom; a space filled with Japanese tools for every kind of maker.

Workshops Saturday 11 October, 10.30am - 12.30pm JTA open showroom + Carve Chopsticks with JTA 12.30am - 4.30pm, Carve a Bird with Rachel; Sunday 12 October, 11.30am - 3.30pm Carve a Spoon with Rachel; Saturday 18 October, 10.30am - 12.30pm JTA open showroom + Carve Chopsticks, 12.30am - 4.30pm Carve a Small Bowl with Rachel; Sunday 19 October, 11.30am - 3.30pm, Carve a Wabi-Sabi Bud Vase with Rachel.
