
Make Space Make It Yourself Workshops
Make Space is an artist run collective with a shopfront in The Station, Newcastle, representing makers from Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Make it Yourself workshops celebrate SCW by bringing craft to life with talented makers sharing their knowledge. Workshops will cover a range of different materials and techniques - think printmaking, jewellery, slow stitching, macrame and shibori dyeing!
Participants will take home a wonderful object they have hand crafted, together with inspiring new skills. All materials and refreshments will be provided with no experience necessary.
Workshops Friday 10 October, card printing; Saturday 11 October, upcycle printmaking, macrame and chainmail earrings; Wednesday 15 October, lino printing; Thursday 16 October, shibori dyeing; Friday 17 October, slow stitch a bag; Sunday 19 October, slow stitch a bird, Open Studio Thursday to Sunday 10am - 3pm.
