SquarePeg Studios presents vibrant activities from their Marrickville studio exploring jewellery as a contemporary art form.

Make a Ring in a Day invites participants (16+) to design and fabricate a sterling silver ring from scratch - no prior experience needed.

Material Matters Playdate offers lively artist talks and a brooch-making session led by Brooch Club, a collective of contemporary jewellers. Hear from exhibiting artists then dive into a hands-on workshop to craft a wearable piece. Open to all ages and experience levels, this event celebrates the expressive potential of jewellery, materials and the small but mighty brooch. Presented in conjunction with Material Matters: a Brooch Club Exhibition, at Windowsmiths Gallery, Kings Cross.
