Pansy Thread Painting and Floral Collage Workshops

The Pansy Thread Painting workshop shows how to stitch these flowers using long and short stitch thread painting techniques. Great for those new to embroidery, or those who want to fine tune their skills to create more detailed and delicate embroidery pieces. Participants receive a beautiful kit with embroidery pattern, thread, needles, fabric and hoop, as well as detailed instructions. The class includes plentiful cups of tea and tasty snacks.

The Floral Collage workshop shows how to arrange and stitch vintage floral fabrics to create a unique 3D embroidery piece. Learn how to use fabric stiffener to create simple 3D flowers, how to stitch and embellish compositions with sparkling thread and beads, and how to mount works for display in a box frame. Participants receive a beautiful kit with fabrics, jewellery wire, beads, thread, needles, hoop and a small box frame. A delicious morning tea is provided.
