Pickle and Tuxie Open Studio

Pickle and Tuxie Ceramics is named after two rescue kittens found in Marrickville, who now call the studio home. Studio work focuses on slab-made pieces inspired by the long history of Marrickville ceramics and the local environment, from delicate porcelain leaves and painted birds, through to functional ware, alongside thrown and sculptural items.

Ceramicist, Donyale Harrison, will be moving the studio into the carport for the weekend of 11-12 October. Work will be available for sale, along with demonstrations and the kick wheel will be available for visitors to try on Sunday, subject to numbers and weather.

Open Studio, Demonstration Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, 11am – 4pm.
