Korina Konopka, Ocean Settling in Rocks, 2023.

Reshaped

An exhibition of contemporary ceramic works by emerging artists Korina Konopka and Michelle Carr, including an artist talk on the 'Art of Ceramics' - the healing qualities of art and handmade craft and its ability to reshape our focus as a community over time.

Korina reflects on her deep connection to natural environments, specifically the North Shore rock pools. Using an earthy colour pallet, she creates thrown and hand-built objects that emulate the essence of these rock pools.

Michelle explores grief, energy, and life cycles. Delicate geometric porcelain slip cast wall installations are stained in powerful symbolic colours and arranged in patterns to suggest connections, growth, evolution, and change.

Exhibition Wednesday 20 September – Sunday 8 October
Artist talk Saturday 7 October 11am – 12pm, see website for opening times and details
