
Sharing Threads
Sharing Threads is a series of five workshops encouraging the local community to enjoy conversations across a range of fibre art practices, engage with craft and experience the benefits of making and share skills in relaxed meetups.
Open to crafters of all ages across disciplines including weaving and macrame.
Workshops include:
Dyeing Yarn: Join Nicole Howell of Birdhouse Fibres in this intimate and engaging workshop to see how beautiful hand dyed yarn is created.
Knitting: Join Nicole Howell of Birdhouse Fibres in relaxed workshop to share skills, expertise and experience in the art of knitting
Macrame: Join Rebecca Cogan for a two-hour workshop ideal for beginners to learn the art of macrame
Weaving: Experience First Nations culture through weaving with special guest speaker First Nations Noongar weaver, Jodie Dowd.
