Sister Up: The Apron Project
In response to the whole society problem of domestic and family violence, artists from across Australia and the USA were invited to create works of art on aprons. The Apron Project showcase uplifts, creates connection and acknowledges the women who care, love and stand for us - our sisters. These one-of-a-kind aprons will be auctioned with proceeds directed to our sisters, the Tangentyere Women's Family Safety Group located in Alice Springs, NT Australia. Join us over 10 days to view the aprons, sign up for floral workshops, contribute to community art, and enjoy weekend Devonshire Tea. Artists are welcome to contribute an apron to the showcase.
Exhibition Saturday 5 – Sunday 13 October, daily 10am - 3pm; Opening Saturday 5 October; Online Auction; Workshops Saturday and Sunday. See website for all event and booking details.
