The Korean Cultural Centre Australia unveils a window gallery exhibition of new artworks by the Sydney-based artist NOT. Inspired by the roof tiles of a traditional hanok house that sits on permanent display at the Korean Cultural Centre Australia, NOT elevates and makes precious these otherwise earthy and utilitarian objects that offer safety and protection in his exquisitely conceived new sculptural installation, Up on the Roof. The artist has crafted, blown, slumped, cast and fired glass and ceramic elements in his Sydney studio and at the Canberra Glassworks, exploring ideas of home and sanctuary through a unique cross-cultural lens.

Exhibition Friday 11 October - Friday 8 November, 10am – 6pm weekdays; Opening Night & Artist Talk Friday 11 October, 6-8pm
