Woodfest Workshops & Market
‘Every tree has a story’ is the inspiration behind Woodfest, a family-friendly event with a mix of demonstrations, trade stalls with hand tools, wood finishes and timber merchants. Woodfest brings people together to preserve and promote wood working traditions, showcasing the work of local makers and celebrating wood related crafts and forest industries including spoon carving, knife making, traditional toolmaking, wood turning, basket weaving and jewellery.
A family friendly event, over the two days there will be a series of adult and children's workshops aimed at participants with a range of skills and knowledge, including; spoon carving, green stick stool making and Pyrography.
This is an experience for festival goers to discover, learn and participate in the story of timber, from the tree to the table. The Bulli Showground is a classic venue which is fully covered and not weather dependant.
Market, Workshops Saturday 19 October and Sunday 20 October. See website for all event details.
