Craft lovers flock to Makers Market
A 6000-strong crowd flocked to see some of Sydney's best handcrafted goods from 20+ of the city's talented makers, all on display in Palmer Street as part of the Australian Design Centre Makers Markets for Sydney Craft Week.
The markets were packed with people right up until closing time, with makers barely able to catch a breath between sales, while visitors enjoyed the spring sunshine and the delicious food from the Shiso Fine food truck.
Here are some images from the market, which featured work by Amy Tamblyn, Blak Markets, Chase Fate, City East Community College, Clay Canoe, Frank Ideas, Heirloom Fibrecraft, Herbert and Friends, IdeastoForm, Katherine Mahoney Ceramics, Little White Dish, Molly Coombs Marr, Mukumono Ceramics, Outer Island, Public Holiday, Tara Burke and Milly Dent, The Raconteur, the Raisin did It, Trade the Mark and Workshop 85.
