5 September: Cremorne’s Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre presents the exhibition News, News, News, exploring its inescapable impact on our lives. The Centre has six groups – paper art, basketry, textiles, calligraphy, photography and painting – and visitors can learn how to join in.
5 September: Illawarra-based artist Michele Elliot’s hands-on workshops show how to reduce textile waste and save well-worn favourite clothing as a response to caring for the environment.
23 August: Festival Director’s Message: Australian Design Centre is proud to present this annual festival which we initiated after consultation with the community in 2017. Each year we propose a theme for participants to consider in their event proposals. This year’s festival theme is RESPONSE.
